'Pennyworth' was released in 2019, and has been an underrated series until the series moved to HBO for its third installment in October 2021. However, the eyes always were on Jack Bannon's Alfred Pennyworth for many reasons but if something tops that list, it is the 'Pennyworth' charm. The series revolves around a younger version of the iteration of the character, (Alfie Pennyworth) which was previously portrayed by Sean Pertwee in Heller's and Cannon's Fox series 'Gotham' (2014 to 2019), with the series serving as a prequel to both 'Gotham', and 'V for Vendetta', by Alan Moore, David Lloyd, and Tony Weare.

However, Ben Aldridge, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett, Ryan Fletcher, Dorothy Atkinson, Emma Paetz, Paloma Faith, Polly Walker, James Purefoy, and Jason Flemyng also star in the series. The series has released 25 episodes until now, including the first 10 episodes of each seasons 1 and 2, and lastly the remaining 5 episodes of Season 3. 'Pennyworth' on HBO: What is next in store for Ben Aldridge's Thomas Wayne?

Alfred Pennyworth is a former British SAS soldier and the trusted security to Thomas Wayne. He is the proud owner of the security firm Pennyworth Security and a close friend of Bazza and Dave Boy. The character was specifically developed from Michael Caine's portrayal of the character in 'The Dark Knight' trilogy, directed by Christopher Nolan. Caine's portrayal includes a previous background as a member of the British SAS. Despite this, the character is a younger version of the iteration previously portrayed by Sean Pertwee in 'Gotham'.

In the current season, it is 5 years later after the war for London has ended. Alfie is seen taking on cases, and also working with the government. He is shown to be the best at handling all the new People with Enhancements that were showing up in the city. Alfie also takes on more of the managerial role after which he has added Bet Sykes and Mr Chadley to the group.

However, Alfred Pennyworth is described as a handsome, charming young man from London. He struggles with being a kindhearted boy and the brutal killer he was forced to become as a member of the SAS. He is further shown to be a compassionate person when he is ordered by Inspector Aziz to shoot Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane in order to frame them for the murder of Lord Harwood. He refuses to shoot them, despite not knowing them very well, despite the fact that he is aware it could potentially cost him his freedom and land him back in jail. Despite this, he is shown to have ruthless anger inside of him, especially when it comes to killing those who have wronged him.

Watch Jack Bannon's interesting character, Alfie of the 'Pennyworth' world in Episode 6, which is scheduled to release on HBO Max on Thursday, 27 October 2022, at 12 am PT/3 am ET. Episode 6 titled 'Hedgehunter' have a run time of 46 minutes.
