YORK, PENNSYLVANIA: New chilling details have emerged in a twisted case, where a Pennsylvanian woman allegedly shot and killed her parents before turning the gun on herself in a pre-planned murder-suicide pact. Morgan Daub, 26, and her parents Deborah Daub, 59, and James Daub, 62, were found dead on Wednesday, January 25 with fatal gunshot wounds in the backyard of their residence in the 2000 block of Loman Avenue, West Manchester Township. As per a report by the York County Coroner, Morgan died by suicide while her parents’ deaths were ruled as homicide cases.

After a five-day long investigation, West Manchester Township authorities revealed that they have recovered some traumatic notes that the Daub family left behind before their horrific deaths. Police Chief John Snyder told CBS 21 that the notes precisely outline their justification for the pact. “This is not normal. This is very unusual for any of us,” he said while speaking about the details of the measures the family-of-three took before their deaths.

What was written in the suicide notes of the Daub family?

In a letter, Deborah shared that her daughter had suicidal thoughts and she even complained about continuous audible hallucinations, according to Al.com. “Deborah then indicated that she didn't want her daughter to die alone and was going to join her when she decided to end her life,” Detective Timothy Fink told CBS 21. The signs of Morgan’s declining mental health were also found on her YouTube channel, where she uploaded three disturbing videos, including the one uploaded just days before the killings.

In a six seconds long soundless video, Morgan asked her subscribers to follow her the way she 'follows Christ!' She also uploaded another 8-minute video, in which she talked about formally abdicating the throne of England after Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September. Before that, another video detailed how the American military was watching the Daubs' home. “My family and I are law-abiding American citizens, yet we are being denied fundamental HUMAN RIGHTS,” Morgan wrote in the video’s description. She added, “We are daily enduring all manner of harassment and illegal, unconstitutional surveillance.”

Father James also left a series of traumatic letters. In his letter, which read almost like a journal over a couple of days, the authorities found that he convinced himself he could not live without his family. “There were varying degrees of mental illness, I believe, that played into each person's decision to end their life,” said Fink. He added, “It's tragic what happened to this family,”

How did the Daub family prepare before their death?

The authorities said the suicide pact itself was solidly planned as they found a series of evidence, indicating that the family had been planning their death for days. As per CBS 21, they drugged their dog so that it would not bite first responders. They even wore ear protection, which blocked the explosive gunshot noise.

“This is a tragedy. It's a terrible thing for the community. It's a terrible thing for their loved ones. It's just one of those terrible things that suicide brings,” said Snyder. It was also reported that James and Deborah both were licensed ministers, who had distanced themselves from their community in recent years. Police continued by saying that they are wrapping up their investigation, confident in the family’s suicide pact plan.
