TRIPLE MURDER-SUICIDE pact sees daughter shoot parents dead in backyard before turning gun on herself

YORK, PENNSYLVANIA: A Pennsylvanian woman allegedly shot and killed her parents before turning the gun on herself in a twisted pre-planned murder-suicide pact, officials said. Morgan Daub, 26, and her parents Deborah Daub, 59, and James Daub, 62, were found dead with fatal gunshot wounds in the backyard of their residence in the 2000 block of Loman Avenue, West Manchester Township.
West Manchester Township Police responded to the family's home at around 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 25 for a welfare check after a neighbor’s daughter, who first saw the bodies, called 911. Upon their arrival, the officers found the three family members with fatal gunshot wounds to their heads. As per a report by the York County Coroner, Morgan died by suicide while her parents’ deaths were ruled as homicide cases.

“After a detailed investigation and evidence found on the scene, including communications from the family members, it was determined that the three family members had pre-planned their deaths,” the coroner said in a press release. The coroner also added that no autopsies will be done as the investigation was consistent with the evidence found at the scene, York Dispatch reported.
Police said they do not believe that there is any danger to the public. "At this stage of the investigation, we do not believe that there is any danger to the public and the surrounding community. ... The situation is believed to be an event within the family and officers continue to investigate and collect information surrounding this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families of the Daubs," police said in a statement.
The neighbor of the family, who called 911, told CBS 21 that the Doubs family were too religious and Morgan even mentioned their religious beliefs in a video she shared on YouTube just two months before their deaths. In the eight-minute YouTube video, Morgan expressed extreme viewpoints on various topics and even asked to “Follow Jesus” in another video, The Sun reported. Officials are still investigating the incident and have asked anyone who has information to call them at 717-792-9514.
The shocking incident came just months after a 12-year-old Texas girl shot and wounded her father before shooting herself after she made a pact with another friend of hers to murder their families and run away together. The young girl was pronounced dead two days after the incident. A murder conspiracy complaint was also filed against the other 12-year-old girl.
