Khloe Kardashian and 'mini-me' niece Penelope Disick rock matching haircuts
'Keeping Up with The Kardashians' star Khloe Kardashian and her little 6-year-old niece Penelope Disick got matching haircuts on Monday. Penelope and Khloe were also accompanied by Penelope's father Scott Disick.
Khloe took to Instagram to share a picture of the pair showing off their new hairstyles which also happened to be Penelope's first ever haircut. She captioned the picture, "So basically, P is obsessed with me (jk) lol how FREAKING CUTE is she with her hair cut???!!!?" The pair's haircut was styled by celebrity stylist Andrew Fitzsimons. Khloe, Scott, and Penelope were seen in Sherman Oaks California at the baby shop Sap and Honey.
Penelope's haircut turned out to be a big hit and her mother Kourtney Kardashian also took to social media to mark the special milestone for her daughter. The mother of three captioned the image, "First ever hair cut in all of her enchanting six years." Stylist of the stars Andrew Fitzsimons also posted a picture of Penelope and said the occasion was "pretty special".
This is not the first time that Khloe and Penelope have had matching hairdos and the aunt-niece duo had got matching plait extensions along with french braids when they were on a vacation in Vail, Colorado. Khloe has always remained friends with her sister Kourtney's former partner Scott Disick.
According to Complex, around four years ago Khloe shared that she and Scott are the "best of friends". Khloe recalled how she had "hated [Scott] before" the two reached an understanding. "Overall I love his progression and growth," Khloe shared of Scott who has now been seeing model Sofia Richie for almost two years now.
Khloe is mother to 10-month-old True Thompson whom she had with her beau Tristan Thompson. Rumors suggest that the couple is going through a rough patch again post Tristan's cheating scandal which was publicized almost a year ago. According to PEOPLE, a source shared that Khloe "rarely talks about" Tristan who was seen getting intimate with another woman only a few days before Khloe gave birth to True, last April.
The source shared, "Khloe and True are happy in Los Angeles. They spend very little time in Cleveland, where Tristan is. She very much acts like a single mom. Her whole life is True. Khloé is a great mom. It’s so obvious how much she loves being a mom. She likes that True is a bit older now — they attend classes with other babies True’s age and Khloé is making sure she has friends."
However, despite the state of their relationship, Khloe maintains that her main priority is True and making sure that her daughter feels loved and supported by both of her parents. The source added, "She wants True to spend as much time with her dad as possible. She believes that True needs a mom and dad in her life."
