Is Tom Brady retiring? Fans left confused and anxious after QB posts cryptic Twitter message and pic
Tom Brady's recent Twitter post left fans and followers confused and full of questions.
The uncaptioned picture was black and white and had been shared on Twitter on Thursday, January 30. Brady can be seen standing at the entryway to the tunnel to a stadium. It is not clear whether it is the Gillette Stadium or somewhere else. It is also not clear whether Brady is walking towards the stadium or away from the stadium.
Fans have been left bewildered by the cryptic post and have taken to commenting on the photograph. One fan shared, "So you see he's walking into the stadium...which means he's not leaving. Is that even Gillette? Is he even walking in or out? He can't leave he's been a Patriot his whole life! What if he wants to get paid?! No, he's staying...I can feel it! FUCK EXPLAIN THIS TOM!"
Another added, "don’t play with my feelings tom," while a third chimed in, "Tom, just relax...go home and make a protein shake. Talk to Giselle. It was just a bad day...forget about whatever you were thinking about, ok?"
"Tommmmmmmmmmmmm you're killing me over here what does that pic mean you leaving you staying?? Please put me out of my misery please @TomBrady. I can't take this not knowing anymore!!" wrote another confused fan.
A few other people called him out as being attention-seeking. As reported by NY Post, ESPN's Adam Schefter believes that the picture is "not related to Tom Brady’s football future". Schefter took to Twitter to share, "Am told that this tweet is not related to Tom Brady’s football future. Repeat, not related to his football future. But the speculation sure is fun."
This is also not the first cryptic post Brady has made this season. After the Patriots' season abruptly ended during the wild card round to the Titans, Brady shared a long Instagram post that ended with "I still have more to prove."
