'Get the f**k out': Patricia Field once kicked JFK Jr out of her store after he called trans employees 'bunch of freaks'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Patricia Field claims that she was prompted to bar John F Kennedy Jr from her Manhattan store after he rebuked her transgender employees for paying more attention to his then-girlfriend Daryl Hannah than to him. The well-known NYC costume designer reveals the incident in her forthcoming book, 'Pat in the City: My Life of Fashion, Style, and Breaking All the Rules," which will be released on February 14.
Field recalled how JFK Jr and Hannah stopped by her downtown store, which was known for employing transgender individuals, while referencing the incident in her upcoming book. The 'Sex and the City' costume designer explained that "girls in the shop went gaga over" Hannah because she had appeared as a mermaid in the 1984 film 'Splash.' She wrote, "Drag queens love a good mermaid," reports PageSix. Field mentioned that JFK Jr. became angry because employees were making a "fuss" about Hannah while completely ignoring him. She wrote, "He looked around and announced, 'bunch of freaks."

'If you don't like it here, get the f**k out'
Field wrote, "If JFK Jr was looking for attention with his comment, he got his wish. All the queens at the shop were more than capable of dismissing anyone who acted up." She stated that an employee by the name of Codie told him, "If you don't like it here, get the f**k out."
Field stated, "There was no room for interpretation. He went to wait outside while his girlfriend got the royal treatment." Kennedy Jr. and the 'Kill Bill' star dated momentarily for five years before their final, permanent breakup. In 1996, he married fashion publicist Carolyn Bessette. Three years later, off the shore of Martha's Vineyard, they both died in a plane disaster.
'Now we're slandering the dead'
Internet users have sharply rejected Field's claim about JFK Jr considering it a "new low" for her to address events involving deceased people. One individual wrote, "No no no, do not even go there, let him rest in peace, please."
Another person wrote, "Yes, let's bring up a dead guy that cannot defend himself. Why does it take soooo long for these people to come out. They want their 15mins suspect." A third person wrote, "Omg! Now we're slandering the dead who can't defend themselves. New low."

Yes, let's bring up a dead guy that cannot defend himself. Why does it take soooo long for these people to come out. They want their 15mins suspect.

This other person, who was confused as to why Field hadn't raised their concerns earlier, wrote, "The guy's been dead for almost 23 years. Leave in the past since he can’t respond. Why didn’t it get mentioned when he was alive???" "Oh please, anyone in NYC still alive from back then knows there is no way in hell uber-bland Daryl Hannah would ever get greater attention than the late JFK, Jr. Believe me, 'Elaine's' reaction from that Seinfeld episode of of 30 years ago was quite spot-on," another individual wrote, refuting Field's assertion.
