LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: NFL pundit Pat McAfee ripped on Mark Wahlberg for making an awkward appearance on ‘ManningCast’ during the Eagles-Chiefs game.

On his Wednesday’s episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show' the host called the ‘Father Stu’ star's move a ‘horrendous’ one.

Mark Wahlberg appeared to be in a bad mood

Wahlberg was present on ESPN’s alternative broadcast of ‘Monday Night Football' where Peyton and Eli Manning joined him.

McAfee said, “‘Monday Night Football’ with Peyton and Eli with 1.9 million viewers, the show’s best in more than two years. Somebody should have told Mark Wahlberg that people were watching that show. He was horrendous.”

Wahlberg was also the first guest on Monday’s, November 19, ‘ManningCast’ as fans reacted on social media. One wrote, “Mark Wahlberg had zero interest in being on the ManningCast. Ends it with "you guys got a lot of questions" under his breath.”

“I dare anyone to give less energy to an appearance than Mark Wahlberg is giving on tonight’s 'ManningCast',” a second user said.

Another added, “Mark Wahlberg looks like he wants to be nowhere near the 'ManningCast' right now.”

Meanwhile, McAfee praised Wahlberg’s acting abilities and business initiatives, as per New York Post.

“You don’t have to talk to two Hall of Famers on ‘Monday Night Football.’ You don’t have to be here, Marky Mark,” McAfee said.

Wahlberg is said to follow a rigid schedule where he sleeps quite earlier than many. The sports commentator joked, “Maybe that was him walking in his sleep.”

In his 2018 interview with Today.com, Wahlberg said, “I’ve been going like, 3:30 wake-up, 4 o’clock in the gym, kind of finish that, get my reading and my prayer time done, and then start the process of waking them up, which usually ends up taking — I’m up and down the stairs at least three times to get the teenagers up, and I get them off to school, and then I usually start the rest of my day."

Some of the other internet users commented on Wahlberg's cold mood. "I dare anyone to give less energy to an appearance than Mark Wahlberg is giving on tonight’s 'ManningCast'."

"Is Mark Wahlberg being forced at gun point to be on Peyton and Eli tonight? He looks very upset to be there," wrote another.

Another quipped, "Why does mark wahlberg look like someone just stole his dog."
