Since the whole world is struggling with the coronavirus pandemic, and many major cities across the globe are in lockdown, several celebrities and famous personalities are leveraging their stardom to encourage people to practice hygiene and stay safe indoors.

Paris Hilton has also joined the group as she has recently shared an old advertisement raising awareness amid the COVID-19 outbreak. She used the image to inspire people to stay at their homes while practicing social distancing and to watch her show, ‘The Simple Life’, which also featured her friend Nicole Richie for five seasons.

The 39-year-old wore a lace-up denim corset along with a matching pleated skirt and a floral choker around her neck in the old picture while her pal Richie wore a pink bikini with denim dungarees while sporting her long blonde tresses in a loose poker-straight style. However, the newly edited version of the same snap showed Hilton clutching a huge bottle of alcoholic hand sanitizer while wearing a face mask. Richie also sported a protective face mask.

The photoshopped image also said “This quarantine is not hot, b***h” written over it while the top of the snap said, "The Simple Life COVID-19". The media personality shared the edited snap on her Instagram account with the caption: “This #quarantine is not hot. #StayHome #SaveLives and watch #TheSimpleLife.”

Hilton became instantly popular for her "dumb blonde" stereotype role in 2003's 'The Simple Life’. However, recently she revealed that she created that character. Initially, the star was not happy with how people perceived her character, but later she realized that it worked out for her in the end, as her "brand" was built off of it.

“I knew what I was doing but the whole world didn't, so it was kind of frustrating to me to be perceived in that way because it's not who I am at all. But it was such an amazing and entertaining show that I would just think of it as entertainment,” she had revealed in an interview with People.

This comes a few days after Miley Cyrus interviewed Hilton and the 38-year-old Richie on the latest episode of her ‘Bright Minded’ web series while in quarantine. The 27-year-old American singer directly asked the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels, what exactly is it like to be Paris Hilton.

“I love living my life and having a good time and it makes me happy to bring light and happiness to the world,” replied the heiress before flashing a shy smile to the camera, adding, “We need more positivity and good vibes and that’s how I like spending my life.”

Cyrus also asked some of the questions that fans had flooded her social media with regarding Hilton. “Why do you love dogs so much,” asked the ‘Bangerz’ singer, to which Hilton revealed she once “wanted to be a vet," but “did not want to deal with the heartbreak of putting animals to sleep or giving them shots.”

“Since I was a little girl I was so obsessed with animals. This is Baby Bear. I got him from Tokyo,” said the ‘House of Wax’ star as she picked up her designer dog, Baby Bear.
