MANCHESTER, ENGLAND: Don McLean, whose full name is Donald McLean III, was recently seen with his girlfriend, Paris Dylan, in Manchester. The pair, who have been together for around five years, was spotted in Manchester on Friday, September 23, hours before the 76-year-old’s Bridgewater Hall performance, which is part of his 50th Anniversary of the American Pie Tour.
For the outing, the singer-songwriter reportedly chose to keep it simple with a pair of grey trousers and a navy shirt, which he topped off with a rain jacket. He also wore grey slip-on trainers and a pair of sunglasses. On the other hand, his 28-year-old lady-love looked every inch stylish in black leggings and a burgundy vest top. She also donned a grey hoodie as well as a sleeveless denim jacket.

To complete her look, Dylan opted for a pair of white trainers, an Urban Outfitters tote bag, pink lipstick and eyeliner. It has been said that Dylan and McLean began their relationship after the latter separated from his ex-wife Patrisha Shnier in 2016. Shnier had accused him of “adultery, cruel and abusive treatment, and irreconcilable differences,” after which he was arrested on domestic violence charges.

Dylan is reportedly a model, who became popular after featuring on the MTV reality series ‘Catfish’. Daily Mail reported, "She gained notoriety for a 2017 episode of Catfish, about a 2011 incident in which she began a relationship and exchanged nude photos with 33-year-old basketball player Chris 'Birdman' Andersen, when she was 17. But it turned out they weren't actually speaking to each other.” A woman from Canada, identified as Shelly Chartier, was actually behind the scam.

Dylan first shared a photo with McLean in 2016 on her Instagram with a caption that read, “I'm thankful for him. Happy Thanksgiving from Don & I ♥️#thanksgiving #donmclean #newyork #love.” Then, two years later in October, she again posted a photo of herself with the guitarist as she wrote, “Happy birthday my baby, my beauty, love of my life, my everything. ❤️”
In the same year, the ‘Castles in the Air’ singer tweeted an image of himself in front of the Eiffel Tower with Dylan. He said, “Don & Paris at the Eiffel Tower.” Then in 2021, he fondly spoke about her with PEOPLE as he said, “Love is the most important thing you can have. You have to love somebody. Hate is such a burden. It's a complete waste of time. I love my children and I love my girlfriend. I'm crazy for her.”
“She is the most wonderful person that I have ever known. I think of her when I sing a lot of my songs,” McLean said, adding, “You have to be in love with something. When I have had bad times in my life, I always loved my guitar. And now, I have Paris. I'm honored to have her as a girlfriend and a partner and we have no plans to ever break up. We are going to stay together and ride this pony as long as we can.”
