RANCH IS CLOSED! Paramount announces 'Yellowstone' Season 5 will not air any new episode on Christmas
LOS ANGELES, CALIFONIA: The holiday season has finally arrived and people across the globe are getting together with their loved ones to spend the joyous occasion of Christmas. Spending time with your loved ones means missing out on your favorite TV shows and movies as this is one of the few occasions in the year when families spend time with each other and make good memories. However, if you are a fan of ‘Yellowstone’ you don’t need to worry about anything and can enjoy your Christmas dinner without any stress in your mind.
Season 5 of ‘Yellowstone’ has been one of the year’s biggest shows and broke several viewing records for Paramount. The series continues to be riveting as it shows the Dutton Family entering a new phase and sees John Dutton (Kevin Costner) becoming the new governor of Montana. However, Jaime’s hatred for the rest of the Dutton Family continues to reach newer heights and he’s plotting to take revenge. The show keeps on getting more and more intense with each passing episode and when viewers thought that they’ll be getting a splendid Christmas episode on the Paramount show, the network decides to take a step back.

Yes, you heard it right. Paramount has announced that no new ‘Yellowstone’ episode will be aired on Sunday, December 25th, as the show takes a break for the occasion. However, fans should not be concerned because the new episode will arrive a week later on New Year’s Day. This sort of break is pretty normal considering the networks will be airing Christmas specials during the entire week. Apart from ‘Yellowstone’, shows like ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ and more won’t be airing any new episodes in the upcoming week as well.
As far as ‘Yellowstone’ is concerned, Jaime is now doing everything and anything to take revenge on his family. In the latest episode, we saw he told Sarah that even though he was raised on a ranch, his father John Dutton wanted him to be a lawyer and even sent in his application to Harvard. Now that he has already accomplished what his father wanted him to do, Jaime feels that John never appreciated his achievements and continues to hate him for his work. Sarah continues to put Jaime in a difficult position by saying that Montana’s cattle industry is dying and the future is tourism. She makes Jaime believe that tourism can save the ranch he loves so much.
In the end, we see Jaime trying to get his father impeached. Meanwhile, Sarah reassures Jaime that she will support Jaime’s governorship if he replaces his father.
Will Jaime be able to do that? Or finally, face the wrath of the Dutton Family. The upcoming weeks are going to be really exciting and we can only hope to see the entire Dutton Family together again.
