James Corden’s feature segment ‘Carpool Karaoke’ from his popular talk show ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ is one of the most celebrated segments on the Internet where we see global celebrities at their candid best while driving around in the city. BTS had joined the show host in the same fun segment in February 2020 and when they recently came on the show to perform their new song ‘Life Goes On’ from their new album ‘BE (Deluxe Edition),’  fans got nostalgic and started using the then-popular term ‘Papa Mochi’ on Twitter.

For the unversed, while having a gala time in the car, Corden had asked BTS about their nickname in February while revealing that he already knew Jimin’s nickname which was ‘Mochi.’ Reacting to it in an adorable way, Jimin in return called Corden ‘Papa Mochi’ to which Corden replied with ‘Baby Mochi,’ as published by Allkpop. The carpool interaction then became funny after they used these terms several times as part of their conversation. Unexpectedly, the Internet got hold of the word ‘Papa Moachi’ and it was soon trending worldwide on Twitter. BTS Army, who seems to be obsessed with the word now, thanked Corden for bringing BTS on the show again while using the term “Papa Mochi.” Interestingly, the official Twitter account of the talk show now says: “The Late Late Show with Papa Mochi.”

Taking it to social media, one user said, “TS loves papa mochiPurple heartpapa mochi loves BTS.” One individual shared, “The way baby mochi say "papa mochi" Oh my goshh so cutie.” Another added, “Thank you Papa mochi for you constant support to them! The performance was beautiful thank you to give them this opportunity.”  One person tweeted, “LIFE GOES ON ON LATE LATE SHOW WITH PAPA MOCHI WAS AMAZING!!! I LOVE THE SET & THE CAMERA WORK & THE MOST IMPORTANT THING BANGTAN ARE PERFECT & LIFE GOES ON IS JUST BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. Thank you papa mochi for having Bangtan on your show @BTS_twt #BTSxCorden” One stated, “PAPA MOCHI IS HOLDING A “BE” ALBUM LIKE A PROUD FATHER Pleading facePurple heart #LateLateShow @BTS_twt @latelateshow”

K-pop boy group BTS had recently dropped an impressive music video on YouTube of their new song 'Life Goes On'. While BTS unleashed their highly anticipated album 'BE (Deluxe Edition)' on November 20, the Jungkook-directed music video, with its featured track 'Life Goes On', has been getting a whole lot of love from fans since its release. In less than 24 hours, the new visual reached nearly 70 million views on the platform, getting 67,726,262, according to a report by Soompi. Although ARMY – BTS' fandom – would certainly have a lot to do with the numbers, the famously loyal BTS fandom, is citing the milestone has more to do with pure love for the song and the video itself than any attempt to break records.
