Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters have separated after being married for less than two weeks. The actress broke the news in a statement given to The Hollywood Reporter, “I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another."

She continued, “Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

A source tells US Weekly that the pair never got a marriage license. Despite this, there were reports that stated that the pair got married in Malibu on January 20. The wedding ceremony consisted of the couple's close family and friends that included Anderson’s two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Lee, Tommy Lee, as well as Peters’ three children.

Anderson and Peters had been friends for a long time before the two decided to get married. Peters had helped Anderson launch her career as he paid for her singing, dancing, and acting classes. This eventually helped Anderson to land her first role in 'Home Improvement' and later in the famous 'Baywatch'.

Meanwhile, this is Anderson's fifth marriage. She was previously married to Tommy Lee but the marriage ultimately came to an end after Lee was accused of spousal abuse. He even spent six months in prison for the same.

Anderson then married Kid Rock in 2006, but that marriage also did not last long. She then went on to marry  Rick Solomon in 2007 but the marriage ended in less than a year. However, the pair got married again in 2013 but the marriage yielded the same results.
