WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: Despite her popularity today, Paige Spiranac was once left red-faced in front of her neighborhood's children during Halloween when a woman slapped her over candy.

Spiranac often shares her personal and professional life experiences with her followers on social media. Back in 2022, she shared an incident that left her in tears.

Why did Paige Spiranac cry?

Apart from her social media accounts, Spiranac's podcast, 'Playing A Round with Paige Renee', is usually where she tells her followers about her life.

In one of the episodes, Spiranac and her sister spoke about their childhood memories. The golf celebrity exclaimed with great excitement that it was a special episode for her.

During the episode, Spiranac's sister spoke about an incident in which the former professional golfer was treated badly by a woman on Halloween.

Spiranac was six and had dressed up for the festival. She said that that the place in which they grew up was one of the busiest when it came to trick-or-treating.

According to Spiranac's sister, when the influencer went to a door and rang the bell, a woman came out with a bucket in her hand.

The first thing she said to Spiranac was, “Take a Couple,” but she accidentally took three. To her surprise, the woman “slapped” Spiranac’s hand and yelled, “A couple means two.”

Around 20 other children were present and saw what had transpired, which left Spiranac stunned. She sobbed and left, according to her sister. Her sister said, “Paige just burst into tears and runs out.”
