Bandwagon fans may be all too common, but Paige Spiranac is not one to jump on board with them. Spiranac, a well-known social media influencer, is not a fan of bandwagon fans. For those of you who don't know what Bandwagon fans are? People who only support a team or player when they are performing well or are likely to win are called Bandwagon fans.

These fans haven't been through the ups and downs and haven't fought the battles with their team. They jump on board when things look good, but quickly abandon ship when the going gets tough. This mentality is looked down upon by those who take sports seriously. Paige took to Twitter to ask her followers how they feel about bandwagon fans.

'How do you feel about bandwagon fans?'

In a recent tweet, the social media influencer took to Twitter to ask her followers how they "feel about bandwagon fans." Interestingly, Spiranac noted that she has recently become a fan "of a ton of different sports and even some different teams in the last couple of years."

She said she became "absolutely obsessed" with Formula 1 racing after watching the Netflix docuseries "Formula 1: Drive to Survive."

Despite some people considering her to be a bandwagon fan, she doesn't mind. As a golf influencer, Paige recognizes the importance of bringing new people into the sport and doesn't want to discourage them by labeling them as bandwagon fans.

“How do we balance bringing in new people with calling them bandwagon fans?” she asked.

"And I’m no angel here. I’ve publicly called people out for being a bandwagon fan, but as I mature and get older, I realize that that is just stupid."

However, she has also expressed on social media that fan support should be unconditional and extend beyond just winning.

"I get it. It’s extremely frustrating to see new people become fans of your team when they’re successful when you have been there for your team through all of the highs and especially all of the lows.

"But, remember, two is always better than one. The more people, the merrier."

Great inSights

One user on Twitter wrote "Great inSights" while the other wrote "The more, the merrier!." Another user wrote "Half of the fans out there are bandwagon fans anyway." A fourth user tweeted "You look so beautiful I forgot how bad your personality is."
