WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: In a recent event, Paige Spiranac, a former golfer who has transitioned into an influencer, had the opportunity to witness Coco Gauff in action, and it appears that she was thoroughly impressed by the young tennis sensation.

The golfer expressed her awe at observing Coco Gauff's performance at the US Open, describing it as a truly remarkable experience.

Notably, Coco Gauff, at just 19 years old, clinched victory at the US Open last week, becoming the youngest American to achieve this feat since Serena Williams in 1999.

What did Paige Spiranac say?

During an interview with Sports Illustrated's Robin Lundberg, Paige Spiranac praised the young American tennis star.

During her presence at the event, she participated in an interview where she revealed her association with JetFuel and discussed her selections for the Ryder Cup.

Spiranac discussed Coco Gauff's impressive victory during the interview, stating: "Absolutely incredible, She is so much fun to watch. That entire event is something that is so incredibly special. My aunt, she actually played professional tennis and she tried to get me into it back in the day and I was like 'you know what, I'll stick to golf'. But I love watching tennis, I love watching their passion, how fiery they are and it was a really great year, men's and women's side."

She continued, “It has been for years which is crazy to say because she is so young, but she is so poised and so professional and at that age, I definitely was not like that at all and she's someone great that we can all look up to."

Does Spiranac love Tennis?

It's not surprising to learn that Spiranac has a deep affection for and enjoys tennis, considering her family's connections to the sport. Her aunt, a former professional tennis player, made an effort to introduce her to tennis when she was younger.

While Spiranac held a great admiration for tennis and its dedicated athletes, she ultimately chose to pursue a career in golf.

Nevertheless, she recently expressed her love for tennis on social media, specifically on X (formerly Twitter), by sharing a photo of herself in the stands at the US Open.

The background of the picture clearly revealed that she was in attendance at a match during the New York Major, specifically the one featuring Dan Evans and Carlos Alcaraz.
