The tweet by 'Westworld' actress Katja Herbers read, "I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist," sparking a whirlwind of reactions from fans and critics alike.

“Taylor would join her scientist at an end fossil fuels rally and the world would be saved,” she wrote, referencing the influence the 'Blank Space' singer has on her fans, known as Swifties, and the huge number of fans she has.

The tweet emerged amid rumors of Taylor's romantic involvement with NFL star Travis Kelce, coupled with the singer's recent appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game, which had fans buzzing with excitement. In the wake of the pop singers' attendance, Kelce's jersey sales skyrocketed by nearly 400 percent within just two days.

Taylor's presence at Chiefs' games has also seemingly contributed to increased viewership, as fans eagerly anticipate glimpses of the singer cheering on her new beau from a VIP box.

Recent sightings of Taylor attending games alongside celebrity friends like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Sophie Turner have only added to the spectacle.

Throughout this whirlwind romance, Kelce has been surprisingly candid about his relationship with the 'Bad Blood' singer. During an episode of the 'Chasin' It' podcast, he expressed his astonishment at how their relationship has garnered so much attention and public interest.

He admitted, "I can't be mad at how it's all played out." Despite the rumors and attention, Taylor has remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Kelce.

However, it appears that Taylor was not present at Kelce's 34th birthday celebrations, as the football star was spotted spending time with his friends in Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday, October 5.

Nevertheless, internet users mocked Wilde, pointing out that the world wasn't saved when she was in a relationship with Harry Styles. As her Instagram story began making rounds on X, formerly Twitter, a user highlighted, "I get it but like also…who is olivia wilde to say shit. I dont remember harry styles restoring the ozone when they were dating."

People flooded to give their opinion on her post, with one saying, "Obviously it’s a joke y’all. Some ppl r taking it further than that. The point was that nobody is doing shit for the environment. And most definitely not celebrities." 

A third claimed, "I don’t think she’s criticizing Taylor. She’s referring to the media attention." A fourth person trolled Wilde, saying, "The attention on that relationship came from Harry Styles, not her so."

A fifth said, "She lives by this Oscar Wilde quote, I guess lol," adding a picture of a quote from 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' which said, "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."

A user stated, "I remember that when she was dating Harry Styles she would take private flights to go to the city for the concerts and then return to LA with her children. At that moment she didn't care about the climate consequences and now she does," speculated a sixth person.
