Newton-John is best known for her roles in movies such as 'Grease.' In between jobs, she has been given her cancer diagnosis which she had received in 2017. Previously, Newton-John was also diagnosed with the disease in 1992 and 2013. Even though her cancer has been recurring during various stages in the actress's life, she said she was no longer angry about the diagnosis.

"No. 'Why me,' has never been a part of it. But I never felt victimized. I never felt, "Why not?" Maybe deep down I knew there was a reason or a purpose for it, or maybe I needed to create one to make it OK for myself. Because it’s — again, it’s a decision, 'How am I gonna deal with it?'" she shared.

During the interview, host Gayle King also asked Newton-John about when she had received her stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis. Newton-John responded saying that at the time, she had not paid any attention to the statistics when she received the news. "In my opinion, if they give you a percentage, or you know, 'These many women get this and they live this long,' you can create that and make it happen," she revealed.

Very recently, she had attended the 2019 Cannabis Science Conference in Portland, Oregon where she opened up on her personal journey with using marijuana.
