BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne's Y2K-inspired vintage ensemble has taken the internet by storm.

With up to 10 million of her social media followers potentially witnessing the Instagram story, Dunne is highly well-liked on social media.

Due to her success, she has received numerous endorsement deals from well-known companies including L'Oreal, American Eagle and Spotify.

Dunne, an National Collegiate Athletic Association athlete, wore a short green top with floral motifs, along with low-cut denim shorts with green triangle accents.

She accessorized with a gray checked handbag and pink sunglasses to complement her blonde hair, with the caption, "Y2k vibes from last night" underneath. 

The 20-year-old has started another academic year at LSU. She is managed by WME Sports, which also represents Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic, and is reportedly worth an estimated $3.3M, according to Marca.

The term "Y2k" stands for the year 2000, which marked the end of the previous millennium and became known for contentious fashion decisions such as Paris Hilton's velvet tracksuit.

After 2000, the movement has experienced a sort of nostalgic resurgence, and Dunne is the most recent figure to follow the trend.

Dunne upped the ante on her pre-season workouts in order to be more prepared for her LSU senior year. She flaunted her extraordinary flexibility and commitment to gymnastics in her most recent Instagram post.

At the 2023 NCAA Championships, Dunne and the Tigers competed, placing fourth in the "Four on the Floor" behind Oklahoma, Florida and Utah.

She will undoubtedly put in a lot of effort to aid LSU in winning their first SEC championship since 2019 and making it to the championship game.

Dunne outshines her detractors with her talent for gymnastics and unwavering commitment to the game. However, after seeing Dunne's skills, haters started going for Paul Skenes.
