'You'

What is the limit of love? And to what extent can one go for love? These are the questions that the protagonist Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) makes us wonder while watching the seat-clenching series. Based on the novel series by Caroline Kepnes, 'You' at the outset, seems like a perfect romantic comedy. Joe, who is a bookstore manager in New York, develops a crush on Beck (Elizabeth Lail), who is an aspiring writer. However, the sweet plotline stops there. As the series progress, it is stacked with horrific elements as the result of an obsession. The line between love and obsession gets blurred along the way for Joe as he goes on to stalk and removes any inconvenience that Beck may have, which includes Beck's family and friends! Each season of the show, explores Joe, being infatuated with a different person and he continues to follow the same system. 'You' shows both the story of a heated romance and a story of a serial killer that is narrated in an intriguing way, as a perfect erotic thriller should.

'Killing Eve'

When thinking of 'Killing Eve', almost everyone remembers the iconic pink gown worn by Jodie Comer, which caused a flood of inspiration for every red carpet at the time. But the series 'Killing Eve' is not pretty as the pink gown. 'Killing Eve' is based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings and it tells the story of Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), who works with MI6, in order to capture the deadly, skilled assassin, who goes by the code name Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and works for a highly influential organization called The Twelve. Things get out of hand when both Eve and Villanelle start to obsess with each other, which leads to a love-hate relationship. With four seasons and 32 episodes, 'Killing Eve' blends the perfect mix of thriller and steamy romance, presented in a stylized manner.
