'Not my hero anymore': Salt Bae fan gets RUDE SHOCK as chef shrugs him off for 'not being famous enough'
DUBAI, UAE: Turkish chef, food entertainer and restaurateur Nusret Gökçe, who is popularly known as Salt Bae, was slammed by a TikToker who claims to be a fan of the celebrity chef. A TikToker named Masala Bae said that he was no longer a fan of the celebrity chef. In the clip uploaded by the TikToker, the chef ignores the man's compliments and simply says 'enjoy'.
Nusret Gökçe, 39, shot to fame in 2017 for his unusual technique of preparing and seasoning meat. The now multimillionaire Turkish-born celebrity chef owns palaces, and private jets and has a huge fan following. On December 18, Salt Bae was spotted on the field at Argentina's post-World Cup celebrations at the Lusail Stadium, Qatar, where many onlookers criticized his appearance, believing he was interfering with the players' celebrations and 'breaking rules' by touching or kissing the World Cup trophy.

Recently, a TikToker was utterly disappointed after visiting Salt Bae's restaurant. He slammed the celebrity chef and said he is 'not his hero anymore' after being shrugged off when they finally met.
The TikTok user said that his idol "hurt" him through his rude behaviour and snubbed him because he was "not famous enough".
In a video posted to his social media profile, the scorned fan can be seen talking to Gökçe and praising him as an inspiration. He said:, "I literally try to be just like you. I've learned everything from you, I make my own videos just like you because you are my inspiration. You helped me make my own business."
Despite Masala's emotional speech, Salt Bae simply turns to the camera and gives a double thumbs up before saying "enjoy" and turning away towards the kitchen of his restaurant.
Text over the video read, "Never meet your heroes. Shrugged off, not famous enough for him, not worth it." Meanwhile, the devastated fan captioned the clip: "He hurt me... not my hero anymore."
