Marilyn Monroe may have aborted the child from either then-president John F Kennedy or his brother Robert F Kennedy, claims a new book authored by Fred Lawrence  Guiles which is due to release on April 28.

The biography about Hollywood sex icon titled ‘Norma Jeane: The Life of Marilyn Monroe' states that on July 20, 1962, Monroe had secretly admitted herself to Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Los Angeles to terminate a pregnancy, based on revelations made by a publicist who worked for her press agent at the time.

However, the book also claims that it is impossible to determine whether it was John F Kennedy's or his brother’s child that she terminated as she was said to be seeing many men during that time.

“What we do know is that she seems to have plunged into a profound depression,” Guiles says in her book.

“According to Guiles’ book, Monroe was ‘three months’ removed from her last meeting with John Kennedy and ‘only a few weeks’ removed from her last date with Robert, who at the time was the US attorney general,” reports the Daily Mail.

The author has also written in her book how the Kennedys may have not known about her pregnancy at all as there’s no way one could know if she had informed the brothers.

Guiles’s book also talks about her emotional relationship with Robert Kennedy, also known as Bobby, whose decision to not leave his wife and family had pushed her into severe depression.

“Bobby had taken over her emotional life within a brief two and a half months, but he may well have brought Ethel and his family West to help ease him out of this mistake,” it reads.

“Marilyn had drifted into an unrealistic view of the situation — believing that Bobby was somehow available to her. Now the Kennedy clan was shoving her back into her place. If she felt that the possibility of a really serious relationship with Bobby was being dismissed — that would certainly help explain her ill temper Friday evening” it states further.

Reportedly, a few days after her discreet visitation to the hospital, she went out to dine at her favorite restaurant at La Scala in Beverly Hills with her press agent and secretary Pat Newcomb and brother in law to the Kennedys.

Bobby who was on a trip to California was also present at the same restaurant with wife and children, according to the book. However, Monroe was "edgy" that evening as she felt she was being ignored by her alleged lover.

Previously, Monroes’s second husband Joe DiMaggio had accused the Kennedys of his ex-wife’s death as he had said in a statement, "The Kennedys did in my poor Marilyn. She didn’t know what hit her.”
