'No Time to Die': Rami Malek's villain in new James Bond movie is a 'nasty piece of work'
Daniel Craig is all set to return as 007 in the upcoming 'No Time to Die' and from what we know, he's up against two formidable foes. We already knew Christoph Waltz would be reprising his role as Ernst Stavo Blofeld.
In Rami Malek, we have a new villain who, according to producer Barbara Broccoli "is really the supervillain". In her exclusive to Empire Magazine, she shared details on the all-new baddie Craig's Bond would be locking horns with.
It appears that Malek plays Safin and Broccoli said: "We've thrown the book at him on this one" she says referring to the character.
"He is really the supervillain. He's the one that really gets under Bond's skin. He's a nasty piece of work." she added. Meanwhile, there has been other news trickling in.
According to Metro, the film will apparently see Madeleine and James tie the knot, but she will be keeping her maiden name.
A source close to the site revealed a scene where Bond tells Madeleine (Léa Seydoux): "Morning, Mrs. Bond". To which Madeleine replies: "Don’t you mean Ms. Swann?" Our guess is this may happen right at the start of the movie.
'No Time To Die' sees Bond come out of retirement in Jamaica after his CIA ally and friend, Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) recruits him to stop Safin (Rami Malek) from using a new and dangerous piece of technology that threatens the world.
Directed and co-written by Cary Fukunaga, 'No Time to Die' stars Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Léa Seydoux as , Ben Whishaw as Q, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen.
Filming finished for the movie on October 25 and is scheduled for release on April 8, 2020.
