TOMS RIVER, NEW JERSEY: Men with hoodies and face masks broke into at least two homes early Tuesday, October 18 morning in North Dover, prompting police to launch an investigation. Just before 6 am, a residence on Hickory Street received a report of the first incident. According to authorities, three males entered the house through an unlocked window in the first-floor bathroom and took four sets of keys along with the homeowners' 2022 BMW.  Although the homeowners weren't home at the time of the event, they were notified of it via home security footage, according to ABC.

While just before 7 am the following morning, police were called to a burglary scene on Tall Ship Court, where once again through an unlocked first-floor window, three men broke inside the house while the homeowners slept upstairs, and looted the first floor. A woman reported to authorities that when she woke up, a man in a mask and black clothing was standing over her bed. The suspects were surprised by her waking up and fled, reported ABC.

The homeowners, who wished to remain anonymous, had their home's security system upgraded on Thursday, October 20, and fortunately, they dodged any injury. Apart from the car, the suspects allegedly dashed with a watch, coats, and money from both homes. Police have warned people to secure their doors and windows and never leave their car keys inside. Authorities are looking for the suspects but no official arrests have been made.

Home break-in cases are pretty common nowadays, MEAWW recently reported, Kim Kardashian's Hidden Hills mansion was almost broken into by an intruder who fought with security outside the $60 million home. The near break-in took place on Saturday, October 15, TMZ reported. The suspect has been identified as three-time stalking offender Deandre Williams, who was arrested by police around 11 am. In a similar incident last year, a man invaded Kardashian's home claiming she was his wife. The 24-year-old reportedly crashed through the front door of her home following which security managed to stop him. Kardashian and Kanye's home was also broken into in 2017 when burglars targeted their Bel Air mansion. Three of their luxury cars were ransacked during the incident. The burglar also reportedly targeted the couple's neighbor, Kathy Griffin. This incident came almost a year after Kim was robbed in Paris.
