A burglar who broke into a family home and repeatedly raped a child was taken down by her heroic father after he heard her screams and burst into her room.
When Daniel Altieri entered the house and made his way to the girl's bedroom on Saturday morning, the family was asleep, the Daily Star reports.
Upon entering the girl's room, the burglar attacked her and repeatedly raped her in her own bed. Her screams immediately woke up her father, who rushed to help and found the attacker standing over his daughter. The burglar was wrestled and held down by the dad until authorities arrived at their residence in Perth, Australia.
