Lauren London, the widow of the slain West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle, took to social media recently to squash rumors that she was dating the music mogul Sean Combs aka P Diddy. After the Bad Boy Records owner posted two black-and-white photos of Lauren on his Instagram, it prompted a huge wave of speculation on social media that the pair had become more than just friends.

What further fueled the rumors was the fact that Diddy deleted the photos soon after people started questioning if Lauren London was his new squeeze. The photos in question were taken at the rapper Jay-Z's Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch in January. Plenty of hip-hop royalty was in attendance prior to the prestigious music event, including Lauren London and P Diddy. The rap artiste had initially captioned the photos: "#lostfiles ... @laurenlondon."

Following this, it was being reported via numerous media outlets that the pair were now allegedly an item and that sources close to Diddy were confirming their relationship had blossomed, even though it was rumored to be pretty low-key. So after that news starting trending, a miffed Lauren decided to hop on to social media to set the record straight and end the online chatter surrounding her alleged relationship with P Diddy.

The actress took to Instagram on Thursday, February 20, and posted a picture of her deceased husband, the late great rapper Nipsey Hussle. The caption read, "Still His! King Ermias! Never Forget!"

And in a pointed jab at those who were sullying her name and the memory of her husband with their idle thoughts, she posted another photo, reading "Stop f***ing playing with me and my name. Now let me get back to healing." She went on to say in the caption, "I’m all love and peace but never forget... I’m a woman in grief and I don’t play about Nip, my family, my character and code." So that's a pretty definitive "No" then!

So even though she didn't have to make it clear, Lauren was still mourning the loss of her beloved husband. It hasn't even been a full year since Ermias Davidson Asghedom aka Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed. The celebrated 33-year-old rapper, activist and entrepreneur had been tragically gunned down outside the Marathon Clothing store he owned on March 31, 2019, in Los Angeles, leaving behind a stunned community and grieving worldwide fanbase.

In hindsight, it seemed rather peculiar for Diddy and London to even consider getting together, given that the hip-hop star had previously been in a long-term relationship with Lauren London's best friend, Cassie Ventura.

Diddy also later reposted the photos of him and Lauren as a reworded Instagram Story, so that no one would get the wrong idea. The new caption read: "More Lost Files... Me & My Sister @laurenlondon at the @rocnation brunch." So hopefully that puts an end to the speculation!
