Pregnant model breaks barriers: Nicole Williams English shines on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicole Williams English was recently featured in the 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit' edition, becoming the only pregnant model to grace the cover of this prestigious magazine. The model, who is married to former NFL player Larry English, described the experience as "surreal." She shared, "Shooting on the beaches of Dominica while 8 months pregnant felt surreal. I've always aspired to be a Sports Illustrated rookie, so when I received the call that I was chosen as the first rookie of 2023 and they wanted to shoot me while pregnant, it was the ultimate dream come true. I cried a lot!"
Nicole Williams English, now a mother to daughter India Moon, told People, "When India grows older, I will tell her all about the experience and show her the photos. I believe the universe perfectly aligned to fulfill mommy's lifelong dream when she was in my belly, making it extra special." Interestingly, the 34-year-old model had the opportunity to shoot with her newborn after giving birth in January. She expressed, "When India was 6 weeks old, she posed with me for this issue. Not only am I featured as a pregnant model in the magazine, but you also get to witness India making her debut!"

'I've created a limited edition Sports Illustrated logo suit'
Nicole also joined forces with 'Sports Illustrated' to launch a new swimwear collection under her brand, NIA LYNN. She enthusiastically shared, "I have designed 12 suits and even created a limited edition Sports Illustrated Logo Suit, available in three metallic variations. This collection holds immense sentimental value for me, and I'm incredibly proud of it. The opportunity to merge my brand with SI while simultaneously achieving my career goals is truly exhilarating!"
'We are over the moon in love'
In January, Nicole joyfully shared the news of her baby girl's arrival, exclaiming, "Our sweet baby girl is here, and we are over the moon in love!!!" She explained that during a routine fetal monitoring appointment, it was discovered that she was experiencing preeclampsia. Recounting the moment, Williams English said, "My doctor said, 'We are having this baby, like, TODAY.'"
