Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra seem to have taken the next step in their relationship after the lovebirds arrived in Mumbai, India to meet the actress's mother, Madhu Chopra. A source close to the actress told People that the trio went to dinner together on Friday (June 22) night. “They’re very happy,” the source said. “It’s getting serious.” Nick also took to his Instagram to make their relationship official.
The 'Jealous' singer shared a video of Priyanka laughing and captioned it as "Her" with heart eyes emoji. Earlier this month, Priyanka also accompanied Nick to his cousin's wedding where she got a chance to meet his extended family. As reported by Daily Mail, the two arrived arm-in-arm at the wedding and looked like the perfect couple. Priyanka arrived at the venue wearing a golden wrap dress while Nick chose to wear a smart suit.
The rumors about the two dating started swirling when they were spotted enjoying Memorial Day together on a boat trip. The pictures of the two stars from the day made everyone believe that they were dating because the chemistry between them was quite evident. People noticed that in a picture where the two were surrounded by their friends, Priyanka and Nick were spotted sitting next to each other where she leaned towards him and rested her head on his arms.
At the same time, one cannot forget the time when Nick and Priyanka were pictured together at Met Gala last year. These were followed by pictures of the pair taking a boat ride together.
Just when fans were trying to unsolve the mystery of whether the two were dating, they were spotted attending a Dodgers game. One fan took the video of the pair arriving at the event and enjoying their time together.
A source later confirmed to US Weekly that the duo was indeed dating. "They are dating and it’s brand new,” the source said. “It’s a good match and they are both interested in each other.” The pair also attended the Beast Live concert at the Hollywood Bowl on May 25. “They walked in together just before the performance was starting, they looked great together, but no hand-holding or obvious PDA,” an eyewitness told the magazine.
“The two were seen heading to the concessions stand during intermission before returning to their seats to finish taking in the show,” the eyewitness added. “They snuck out right as the show was ending.” As for their date night at the Dodgers game, an onlooker told the magazine, "Priyanka and Nick were talking really closely and were very smiley and very happy. They weren’t trying to be private as they were in a pretty public place, but they were talking to people around them, sitting closely and they both just seemed super happy.”
Even the though two have not publicly commented on their relationship, seeing that the two have taken the next step of meeting the families it does seem like things are getting pretty serious between the pair.
