Nick Carter says brother Aaron's death is 'still unbelievable' as he hasn't been able to make any sense of it
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nick Carter is opening up about his grief after the tragic death of his younger brother, Aaron Carter, who drowned on November 5, 2022.
The 'Backstreet Boys' singer said he is still coping with the loss of his brother 'Aaron’s Party' singer, who left behind a son, Prince, now 22 months old.
Nick Carter hopes someday to make sense of Aaron Carter's death
Nick Carter shared on E! News that he hopes to make sense of Aaron Carter's death.
“It’s still unbelievable to me,” Nick said, adding “I’m still processing the whole situation and trying to make sense of it—because it hasn’t.”
He further said, “But I’m hoping that one day I can make sense of it all.”
Nick, 43, said he and Aaron had a complicated relationship, but they always managed to reconcile.
“No matter what he and I had gone through in our lives, we always were able to make amends, always were able to get back to that place—and now I can’t anymore and it hurts,” he said.

Nick said his family is his main source of support and comfort, especially his wife Lauren Kitt Carter, and their three children: Odin, seven, Saoirse, four, and Pearl, two.
“My children are my everything,” he said.
“If I lost everything—if I wasn’t a Backstreet Boy anymore, if I didn’t have the opportunity to still perform for people and entertain them—as long as they still had my kids and still had my family, I’d be OK. All this stuff on the outside doesn’t matter to me,” he added.

Nick Carter enjoys being a father and spending quality time with his children
He also said he enjoys being a hands-on father and spending quality time with his children. “That’s what I focus on,” he said.

“Being present with my children, listening to them, parent-teacher conferences, driving them to school, taking them to Halloweens and being there when they want to trick-or-treat,” he added.
Music is another outlet for Nick who recently released a new single 'Made for Us' dedicated to his loyal fans.
