Nick Cannon opens up on balancing time as father of 12 and spending 'entire day' with daughter Onyx
A father of 12, Nick Cannon has opened up on how he manages his time with his children. The 'Masked Singer' host, 42 shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
The 42-year-old father said that although he splits his attention between all of his children, there is one, in particular, he spends the most time with. "My beautiful daughter Onyx, that's probably the child that I spend the most time with, really," Cannon stated recently on the Jason Lee Podcast. Cannon's statement comes after Tiesi, with whom he has a son named Love, caused uncertainty by claiming that he does not need to pay child support. "I take care of myself," 'Selling Sunset' star claimed. "If my son needs something, or we do, I ask, that's all I have to do. I know he's a good dad and Nick is not my sugar daddy, Nick is not the reason I'm where I'm at."

'LaNisha and I have a super strong understanding'
Nick Cannon stated on the 'Jason Lee Podcast that he spends most of his time with his daughter Onyx. "I spend the entire day with her at least three times a week." He continued, "LaNisha and I have a super strong understanding and our co-parenting operation is so solid. If you see me on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, my daughter's right next to me."

While investing the majority of his time with Onyx, Cannon, 42, insisted that his schedule with the infant does not limit the time he gets with his other children because some of them are still "babies" and some are "in school." "Not against all my other kids because all my other kids, they're in school, they're babies, as well as Onyx, but the fact that I appreciate that LaNisha gives me the respect enough to allow me to have her really, an equal amount of time as she does," Cannon explained, as cited by ET.
Cannon has been upfront about the difficulties of being a parent to many children, even though he loves his large family. "Being a father of multiple kids, it's always the biggest guilt on me is that I don't get to spend enough time with all my children," Cannon stated during the DEC 2022 episode of The Checkup with Dr. Agus. "One 'cause I'm constantly working and two because I'm just spread thin," as cited by People.
