Nia Long shares cryptic post about 'revenge' after split from ex Ime Udoka over his bombshell affair
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Missing’ star Nia Long is coping well after her break up with Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka and she is sharing it on social media. ‘The Best Man’ star took to her social media to post a quote on Saturday, April 29 that reads, “The best revenge, is no revenge, Move on. Be happy.”
Long, 52, and Udoka, 45, started dating in 2009 and got engaged in 2015. They became parents to their son Kez in 2011. However, in September 2022, Udoka, who was then with the Boston Celtics, was embroiled in a cheating scandal with one of the female staff of the team.

As the news of the affair broke, Udoka was suspended from the Celtics. During that time, Udoka to issued a statement to ESPN's Malika Andrews that said, “I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down,” before adding, “I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment.”
A source told People at that time, "The situation is unfortunate and painful, but Nia is focusing on her children and rebuilding her life.” Long herself told The Hollywood Reporter late last year that their son Kez was “devastated” and that “He still has moments where it’s not easy for him.” The ‘Friday’ star further added, "I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son's face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public.”
‘Marriage is not a priority for me’
In the August 2012 issue of Essence, Long divulged how marriage was not a priority for the couple then. He said, “Marriage is not a priority for me. I’m not saying I’ll never do it; It’s just not where we are as a family,” reports People.
However, she further added, “I’ll be at home with my man, having a perfectly loving time, and I’ll see all these comments on some site about how wrong I am for not being married,” before adding, “I don’t feel less loved or less loving because I’m not married.”
'The best revenge is being happy'

Revenge continues the toxicity.” While ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ star Mia Thornton cheered, “Queenin,” “Amen. Bitter or better ✨,” wrote the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Tanya Sam.
