American football player J. J. Watt and his fiancee, pro-soccer star Kealia Ohai, walked down the aisle on Saturday in the Bahamas. The couple's wedding was attended by their close friends and family, including North Carolina Courage and USWNT star Crystal Dunn and former Houston Dash teammate Amber Brooks.

Vice President of the Houston Texans, Amy Palic, had also graced the event and later congratulated the couple on social media. "The most beautiful wedding. The most beautiful love story. Great friends. A night to remember. @jjwatt @kealiaohai," she wrote.

The couple has been dating for a while now and the rumors surrounding their relationship first emerged when Watt was spotted at Houston Dash (Ohai's team) games, People reported. The pair first met through Watt's former teammate Brian Cushing, who is married to Ohai's elder sister.

After dating briefly, Watt and Ohai decided to go public with their relationship in 2017 when they appeared as guests on the '2 Up Front' podcast. Even though Watt called her his "best friend," the pair sure confirmed their relationship status. But, they never went over-the-top with their romance with Watt only dropping subtle hints.

The couple got engaged in May last year and ever since then have been open about their relationship on social media especially Watt with his captions and hearts-in-eyes emojis in them. The engagement was an elaborate arrangement and had Ohai totally surprised, but the real deal was when he flew in her friends and family to celebrate their engagement.

Ohai shared a video of her loved ones entering the premise on social media with a caption: "I was so excited and shocked all I could do was cry. Thank you so much @jjwatt I am the luckiest girl in the world and will never ever forget this special day."
