MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle apparently cannot get their own story straight!

Harry and Meghan are getting ready to share more of their reality in two significant projects, a Netflix documentary series and the Prince's upcoming memoir. But apparent "discrepancies" between what they said on camera and Harry's own words in his memoir has left Netflix and the filmmakers behind the pair's upcoming streaming documentary "confused", reported Page Six. The docuseries, which tells the "love story" of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is due to air in December (right after 'The Crown'), despite Meghan and Harry's requests that it be pushed back to 2023. Prince Harry's memoir still does not have a publication date.

The Sussexes, who have been filming with Brooklyn filmmaker Liz Garbus for more than a year, are rumored to have discussed the royal family frequently on camera. A source commented, "A lot in the show contradicted what Harry has written, so that was an issue. Then Harry and Meghan made significant requests [to filmmakers] to walk back content they themselves have provided, for their own project." It seems that the couple wished to delete remarks they had made against King Charles and his wife, Camilla, the queen consort, as well as Prince William and his wife, Kate.

Since it takes weeks for Netflix to edit and translate for other languages, they need to finish the project as quickly as possible. The source added that Netflix needs a few months to complete all of the formatting, dubbing, subtitling, and audio work necessary for it to be released on the platform. The source went on, "I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall. I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point, do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?” However, it sounds like the show isn't being "shelved", and Netflix appears keen to complete the final edit.

Rumor has it that the potential changes being made to Meghan and Harry's show is because of the claim that King Charles is delaying decisions regarding their children Archie and Lilibet's titles until after the biography and docuseries drop.
