NCT’s Jaemin and Doyoung launch Instagram accounts, fans complain ‘follow button isn’t working, send help’

The fans rushed to Instagram to follow their favourite artistes. However, their dream was short lived as a lot of people complained about not being able to follow them

Social media presence is a must if you are a global artiste and now, two members of South Korean band NCT, namely Jaemin and Doyoung, have now launched their Instagram accounts. Jaemin is 20-years-old whereas, Doyoung is 24 and thus, it won’t be wrong to assume if they attract a lot of young followers on their new account of the photo-sharing app.

According to Soompi, Jaemin logged into his brand new Instagram account with the username “@na.jaemin0813” whereas Doyoung made the new account with the username “@do0_nct.” Jaemin, as of now, has shared four posts on his new Instagram account and has already scored over 210k followers. For his first post, the NCT member shared two pics and went for his cool medium close-up shot in the first one and if you slide it to the next one, we can see a full long-shot of the singer posing stylishly for the camera. He captioned the pic as, “2020.10.16” referring to the day he made his account. Meanwhile, Doyoung has shared two posts on his Instagram account so far and he also went for two pics in his first post where he looks dapper in a loose black sweatshirt. He opted for a Korean caption which according to Soompi means, “Great Insta restaurant open.” The young artiste has scored over 100k followers as of now.

The fans got excited with the news and rushed to Instagram to follow their favourite artistes; however, their dream was short-lived as a lot of people complained about not being able to follow them as the “follow” button was not working for them on the photo-sharing app. One user took to Twitter and said, “The follow button isn’t working the mass follow is so big that insta can’t keep up.... I have been wanting for doyoung to get an ig cuz he has the best aesthetics EVERRR.” Another stated, “Yes hello the follow button isn’t working send help.” Sharing a mutual feeling, one fan added, “Instagram I’m suing, why won’t you let me follow Doyoung and Jaemin??!????” One user asserted, “And they crashed Instagram because we can't  follow them..Pls @instagram  fixed your site so that #NCTzens  can follow them..”



 



 



 



 

The other members of the South Korean band -- Jaehyun, Johnny, Ten, WinWin, YangYang, Hendery, XiaoJun, Lucas, Kun, and Yuta -- are already on Instagram.

On the music front, NCT recently released their second studio album called “Resonance Pt.1’ The album comes with 12 tracks which also features the lead single ‘Make A Wish (Birthday Song).’
