'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 Episode 9: Did Hanna Khoury confirm romantic 'entanglement' with Quentin Carter?
Ahead of 'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 Episode 9, the show's official Twitter account revealed this will be the final season of the seven-year-old show, with the series finale to come sometime in the middle of May. But before fans could process all of that with heartbreak and tears, the show decided to spin a new ballgame their way by solidifying speculations surrounding a budding romance. After agents Tammy Gregorio and intel-wiz Sebastian Lund, it's time for Hanna Khoury to find romance and looks like she's not looking too far. In fact, something hot and spicy seems to be brewing within the 'NCIS: NOLA' headquarters itself, as Khoury seems to be getting into an 'entanglement' with Quentin Carter.
A major throwback to that massively popular quarantine meme where Jada Pinkett told husband Will Smith she got into an 'entanglement with August' Alsina, this episode of NCIS: NOLA titled 'Into Think Air' sees Carter say the word unironically right at the end of the episode when he and Khoury reflect on how she helped him overcome deep-rooted family issues and treatment between him and his mother. The beginning of the episode sees Carter thank Khoury for helping him see the light, and she joked by pulling out her phone and asking him to repeat said lines so she can have video proof of it.

But while the two laugh it off and get down and busy solving the case of a 14-year-old's kidnapping, they come around in the end of the episode eventually to discuss the matter still left open. Khoury and Carter have one of those touching heart to hearts, where the usually cold and aloof new team member tells our warm and seasoned NCIS agent how the problem with 'entanglements' is expectations - thus alluding to something more than just your regular coworker relationship. And with the show being on its final arc, it doesn't seem too unrealistic.
Khoury and Carter have shared a certain charismatic dynamic since day one, and although she has a past with a teenage daughter she would kill and die for, looks like the macho Casanova might finally stop playing the field for her. And let's not forget – Khoury even directly asked Carter if he was flirting with her. Personally, they made one of the hottest couples that TV procedurals have ever seen. And if 'NCIS: NOLA' knows their fans even a little bit, they won't hesitate or beat around the bush much before making Khwentin a canon thing!
Immediately after the words were uttered, fans took it to Twitter to express their thrill and excitement about seeing this plot unfold. Picking up on Khoury's comments, one tweeted: "Carter and Khoury flirting! It's the final season, so I don't know what's going to happen with that." Another thought it was a "Good question there. was Carter flirting with Hannah?" A third fan however remarked ""Are you flirting with me?" Well, Khoury, that would one interesting relationship..... ;)" And we couldn't agree more!
