Natalie Portman grabs eyeballs in bold plunging black mini dress at 'Lucy In The Sky' premiere
Natalie Portman ensured she was the center of attention as she grabbed eyeballs at a premiere for 'Lucy In The Sky', held at Fox Studios in LA on Wednesday, September 25, night, with a very bold fashion choice.
The 38-year-old actress, who plays an astronaut losing her heart and her mind after returning from a space mission, decided to go bra-less to the event in a little black dress with a plunging neckline that reached up to her navel, according to a Daily Mail report.
Bearing long sleeves, the thigh-skimming outfit was fashionably cinched at her waist with front pockets on each side. Portman sported a shoulder-length bob haircut styled with a center parting and she added a couple of inches with black sandal heels.
The Black Swan Academy Award winner finished the look with rosy blush, a scarlet red lip shade, and lashings of black mascara. Portman was joined at the screening by her co-star, 48-year-old Jon Hamm, who looked dapper as usual in a monochrome check suit.
The 'Mad Men' star added a white shirt with a long black tie and black brogues to complete the look. The star-studded event also saw actress Pearl Amanda Dickson make an appearance.
Dickson rocked a navy dress with black sheer long sleeves as she posed for the cameras. Earlier this month, 'Lucy In The Sky' had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. It is scheduled to hit theatres on October 4.
Portman, who played Jane Foster in Marvel's 'Thor' movies, recently revealed why she had not made an appearance on 'Thor: Ragnarok'. She told Entertainment Tonight: "Obviously, I wasn’t written into [Thor: Ragnarok] because of where it took place. It wasn't really on Earth, and my character is on Earth."
She also revealed how her role is set to evolve in the forthcoming 'Love and Thunder'. "They came to me with the idea and said, 'We have this idea for you that was a storyline in some of the comics where Jane becomes Lady Thor,' and I was like, 'This is very exciting!'"
