As of late, Netflix has done a lot to expand its streaming platform, taking up productions from non-English speaking regions. Safe to say, Netflix has been the leading streaming service for this very reason, with other platforms following suit.

One of the very first foreign language shows that was a huge hit on Netflix is ‘Narcos’. The first two seasons of the show were a huge success and extremely popular, and so the creators decided to work on the third season - 'Narcos: Mexico'.

The Columbian military has just shot down Pablo Escobar in a neighborhood in Medellin, and the news has spread like wildfire.

Amado has an important meeting with the head of the Cali cartel, to be held in Columbia. His proposal is to pay him via cocaine. The party laughs and jokes around, all except for Pacho, who has heard about Amado's deal and is eager to see how the rest react. Amado wants to be in charge of the money, and distribution. Moreover, he has no competition since after Escobar's death, people are afraid to have exposure of any kind.

Meanwhile, it’s snowing in El Paso; snowflakes of cocaine are dropping from the sky. This has happened because a teenager sped through a red light, and was hit by another car. White powder shoots from the trunk of the car out in the open.

Meanwhile, Juan pleads with El Chapo, asking him to let them use his boats to smuggle their product from across the border, although Mayo knows this is a bad call for both him and his business.

On the other hand, Andrea works to track down Benjamin’s family dealings, and who always happens to have his hands clean, having his juniors do the dirty work. She notices two business associates of the Arellano business coming out of an office with stacks of chips - the casino Vista De Oro! Andrea notes that Carlos is the owner of the casino. Is he in on the dirty business?

Ramon hears that El Chapo is trying to escape via a police escort and somehow get to the airport. Chavo sees Chapo first and fires a shot that backfires, leaving him to bleed through his chest. Chapo picks up on this and escapes through the parking lot. Soon enough, Barron, Ramon, and his newly appointed men shoot everyone in their sight, thinking it’s Chapo.

El Chapo eventually makes his great escape as planned; he goes through the airport terminal and even steals an airport car in the process!

The Arellano cartel shoots Archbishop Posadas by accident, who happens to be the highest-ranking religious official in Mexico.

Amado uses this opportunity to the best of his advantage. He goes on to meet with Carlos, telling him that he is the sole distributor of the Cali cartel and that he wishes to come up with a business decision. What's on Amado's mind?

Season 3 of 'Narcos: Mexico' is available to stream on Netflix.
