WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: Almost a year has passed since the death of the legendary singer Naomi Judd but talk surrounding her suicide has not stopped. ‘A Holiday Romance’ actress died by her own hand on April 30, 2022, and it has been reported that it was the Judds Farewell Tour, which was the tipping point for her.

Days before her death, Naomi and Wynonna shared on April 11 that the tour would start on September 30 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the Van Andel Arena before heading to Green Bay, Wisconsin; Duluth, Georgia; Biloxi, Mississippi; and more. The tour was scheduled to end at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on October 28.

At the time, Naomi in a statement declared, “The fans have always been my family of choice. I love them dearly, so I’m chompin’ at the bit to belt out our hits and reconnect with them once again. The cherry on top is singing with my beloved, wild and extremely talented daughter … the best singer of any genre, Wynonna! She asked me if I was still going to twist, twirl and crack jokes. I answered, ‘Heck yeah! I’m too old to grow up now!’”

Wynonna, at the time, had added, “What I’m looking forward to most is celebrating Judd music with the fans. Mom and I have had quite the journey over the last 38 years, and the fans have been with us through it all. This tour is a celebration for them!”

But the multi-state tour was apparently too much for Naomi, who was already struggling with her mental health. A family source told RadarOnline.com, “Over the years, Wynonna had to practically drag her mom kicking and screaming to do the various Judds reunion tours they've staged, but Naomi always snapped right into her role in the duo and performed wonderfully.

“Wy didn't think this short tour would be any different, but for Naomi, her mental health had just declined, so the least bit of pressure sent her over the edge. It's a heartache the whole family will have to deal with the rest of their lives.”

This comes after another startling revelation was made regarding the ‘Window Wonderland’ star after she gunned herself down. In the new discovery, it has been found that she did not want Wynonna at her funeral. An apparent suicide note left by her read, “Do not let Wy come to my funeral. She's mentally ill.”

But the elder daughter of Naomi went to her mother’s last service as an insider reportedly said that the 58-year-old “just has to continue to believe her mother did not mean what she wrote.” The source also added, “Naomi had suffered from mental illness and suicidal thoughts for years, and Wynonna suffered right along with her. They toured the world and became music superstars as The Judds, but that also caused a lot of conflict.”
