Nancy Drew Episode 3 preview: After discovering Dead Lucy's dress in her attic, what other secrets will Nancy unearth about her dad?

Last week's episode 'The Secret of the Old Morgue' had a surprising end. Investigations into the murders of Tiffany Hudson (Sinead Curry) and Dead Lucy were well underway when Nancy (Kennedy McMann) happens to make a unique discovery.
She is eerily lured into the attic of her own house, where, hidden in an old trunk, she finds the dress Dead Lucy was found dead in. Worried, she links the dress to her father Carson Drew (Scott Wolf) and wonders about his involvement in the murder.
Later in the episode, Nancy breaks into the coroner's office to steal evidence before Tiffany's body is moved for a private autopsy. This time too, Nancy is eerily lured to where Dead Lucy's evidence box is stored.
However, she can't get out in time and the police arrive and arrest her for the break-in. She remains locked up in jail when her attorney father Carson arrives and she asks him about the trunk she found in the attic and the bloody dress.
He tells her that the trunk belonged to her grandmother and the bloody dress was a prop he used to scare her mother with. While Nancy seems pacified by this little walk down memory lane, it reeks of inconsistency. At the end of the episode, Carson is shown burning the dress.
Among the latest discoveries by Nancy is also a mobile number Tiffany was last in touch with. That turns out to be Nick's (Tunji Kasim) number.
The official synopsis for this week's episode 'The Curse of the Dark Storm' is: "A nor'easter hits Horseshoe Bay and Ace warns everyone that the storm has been known to blow restless spirits ashore; Nancy confronts Nick about the secrets he's been keeping."
Will this episode show us how Nancy's father happens to have the dress in his possession? And why, after his daughter finds it, does he burn it?
He paid for a pretty hefty bail by taking over Ryan Hudson's (Riley Smith) case. But he had once said that he had promised his wife he would never work with the Hudsons. Why is that?
Coming to Nick, what could he be hiding about Tiffany? In fact, given their history of connection that the police are also aware of, he is at the biggest risk.
