GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: Charlotte Hornets announced a groundbreaking partnership with YouTube sensation MrBeast for the 2023/24 NBA season.

The Charlotte Hornets have unveiled an unprecedented jersey-patch partnership with the YouTube phenomenon MrBeast, taking the worlds of influencer marketing and professional sports to a whole new level for the upcoming 2023/24 NBA season.

This groundbreaking venture is set to redefine the way influencers and major sports franchises collaborate.

Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast, has made a name for himself as one of the most prominent content creators on YouTube, boasting a staggering 186 million subscribers on the platform.

Known for his philanthropic endeavors, jaw-dropping challenges, and viral stunts, MrBeast has ventured into various areas, including sports. Earlier this year, he participated in the Sidemen Charity Match, capturing the attention of sports enthusiasts worldwide.

Speculations have also swirled around a potential boxing match, as he trained with none other than the controversial YouTuber and boxer, Logan Paul.

A recent Forbes report has shed light on MrBeast's astronomical earnings, underscoring his financial prowess in the world of digital entertainment.

Between June 2022 and June 2023, Forbes estimated that the popular YouTuber amassed an astonishing $82 million in gross earnings.

With this significant financial boost, MrBeast is now poised to embark on a remarkable sports venture, further solidifying his status as a prominent figure in both the digital and athletic domains.

On September 2, ESPN broke the news that the Charlotte Hornets would be forging a jersey-patch partnership with MrBeast, marking an unprecedented collaboration between the influencer and the NBA franchise.

The partnership includes the placement of MrBeast's chocolate brand, Feastables, on the Hornets' uniforms and media backdrops for news conferences.

It's important to note that the press release did not specify whether the logo would be worn during official games.

This partnership carries special significance as MrBeast hails from Greenville, North Carolina, the Hornets' home state.
