MrBeast signs $10M contract with Buccaneers weeks after appearing in football team's jersey
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, recently signed a $10 million, two-day contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to become a real NFL player for his latest video released on November 25, 2023.
The 25-year-old YouTuber, who has an insane number of followers, went viral last month in October when he ran out of the tunnel with Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and the rest of the Tampa Bay players for their game against the Atlanta Falcons.
During the NFL match between the Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons, MrBeast drew the attention of fellow NFL fans as he sported a complete Tampa Bay uniform, engaging in photo sessions and autograph signings.
MrBeast signs two-day contract with Buccaneers
The events of that moment are now visible to internet users.
Although MrBeast signed the $10 million contract, he never received any of the money because, as happened, the contract would be nullified if he was fired within 48 hours.
For two days, MrBeast lived the life of an NFL player without receiving compensation, participating in weightlifting, training with Buccaneers players, and a simulated press conference.

MrBeast has more than 214 million subscribers on YouTube. He typically publishes videos with extravagant tasks and his audience reach is a huge reason he leverages massive opportunities.
MrBeast FaceTimes with Tom Brady
Undoubtedly the most exciting part of MrBeast's time with Tampa Bay was calling the team's former quarterback Tom Brady on FaceTime from the practice facility.
For context, Brady appeared in a previous MrBeast video entitled '$1 vs $1,000,000,000 Yacht!' published in June this year. MrBeast even FaceTimed with Tampa Bay wide receiver Chris Godwin and offensive lineman Luke Goedeke.
The conversation began when Brady said, “How my boys doing,'’ asking about Godwin and Goedeke.
MrBeast then tells Brady he has a friend, fellow YouTuber LazarBeam, whose real name is Lannan Eacott, who might "die of happiness if you said hi to him".
Brady then replies '’Lannan I love you bro,'’ as Eacott pretends to faint. Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles, linebacker Shaquil Barrett, and general manager Jason Licht also appeared in the video.
Barrett acknowledged MrBeast, and the linebacker said that his children also adore Donaldson.
Goedeke and Barrett claim that MrBeast's contract with the team is the same as the one they signed with the Buccaneers after taking a quick look at it.
