'Move over football': Taylor Swift is again center of attention with presence at Chiefs vs Packers game in Wisconsin

Taylor Swift cheered on boyfriend Travis Kelce at Chiefs vs Packers game, but the lucky charm failed

GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN: Taylor Swift is back to support boyfriend Travis Kelce. The pop sensation arrived at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Green Bay Packers on the night of December 3.

In a video posted by Pop Base on X, Swift was spotted arriving at the stadium, accompanied by her new friend Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and also Lyndsay Bell, tight end Blake Bell's wife.

The 'Shake It Off' singer rocked a chic ensemble featuring black thigh-high boots, matching tights, a black dress complemented by a vibrant red Stella McCartney belted teddy coat, and accessorized with a Cartier diamond and gold necklace.

However much to the dismay of Swifties and Chiefs fans, Swift's presence did not work this time.

The defending Super Bowl champions lost the game to the Packers 27-19. Despite multiple opportunities to take the lead, the Chiefs failed to take the lead. In Swift's presence, the No 87 tight end had four catches for 81 yards in the game.

According to Daily Mail, the singer also jetted out of Green Bay less than six hours after seeing Kelce lose for the first time.

The singer could not root for her boyfriend, the Chief's tight end, due to her sold-out Eras Tour concerts in Argentina and Brazil. She first appeared in Kelce's cheering section at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, in September.

Before embarking on the South America leg of her tour, Swift attended four Chiefs games and was often considered a lucky charm for the team as they won all those games.

She wrapped up the first international leg of the record-breaking tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 26.

Us Weekly reported that she flew back to Kansas City on November 27 to spend time with Kelce. She has a two-month break before leaving the continent to resume her Eras Tour in Tokyo on February 7, 2024.

It seems like Swifties were more excited to see Swift at a Chiefs game than Travis himself. Her attendance obviously became the focus of the NFL game. Even the Packers fans were elated to see the pop icon.
