'Morning Joe' host Mika Brzezinski gets candid about what 'grounds' her in heartwarming post

Through this, Brzezinski also often opens up about her own hardships, as well as the things she loves.

Whether that means hiking uphill or tending to her garden. In her most recent post on ‘Know Your Value,’ Brzezinski opened up about what grounds her.
With the help of science, as well as emotions and personal experiences, Brzezinski shares the importance of gardening in her life, especially tending to the garden that once belonged to her mother, Emilie Benes Brzezinski.

‘Know Your Value’s official Instagram had a detailed post by Brzezinski along with two pictures of her in Maine, taking care of her mother’s garden.
In the post, Brzezinski wrote, “In the whirlwind of work, the constant hustle, and compartmentalizing stress, my mother’s garden grounds me."
The post further read, "There's a scientifically proven antidote that can help us navigate hard times and that is the wonders of nature. 🌳My mom was on to something with her passion for trees and nature.”

Mika Brzezinski opens up about keeping her mother's memory alive
Brzezinski also detailed the science behind it all in her caption, “Scientific Serenity…Science tells us that activities like gardening, cycling, and walking offer real relief from stress. We've all felt the mood lift they bring, yet finding time for them can be a challenge.”
“Bamba, as we lovingly called her, had a deep appreciation for the beauty of blossoming flowers and homegrown veggies – the kind you could enjoy straight from the branch," she wrote.
“BAMBA’s garden” has been my way of keeping her memory alive,” wrote Brzezinski about her mother and her relationship with gardening, helping others understand Brzezinski’s own relation with it.
Lastly, through this Instagram post, Brzezinski also gave room to her followers to share their own experiences with nature.
