'Morning Joe' host Mika Brzezinski coins a new term 'jike-ning' during her uphill hiking adventure, fans call her 'inspiring'
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: At 56, ‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski is an inspiration to many as she thrives to stay fit and has shared a part of that journey with her fans on Instagram.
Brzezinski is fairly active when it comes to social media, especially Instagram. Although most of her posts are with her husband and co-host, Joe Scarborough, the occasional post highlights her own journey, friends, and family.
This time around, Brzezinski posted a series of pictures and videos of her hiking uphill, which also led to her coining a new term, 'Jike-ning,' which is a mixture of running, hiking, and jogging, and her fans are inspired!
‘Does anybody else feel this way?’
Brzezinski was candid on Instagram about her experience with running, and also admitted that her husband, Scarborough, finds her way ‘weird.’ Brzezinski also spoke about the new term ‘Jike-ning’ along with a combination of six photos and videos in her post.
She wrote, “Total exuberance at the top!! Two days in a row, 24 minutes to the top each time.. what would you call this “Jike-ning”??— a mixture of running, hiking, and jogging— my husband thinks it’s weird that I love running up. But for some reason, I find running straight up a hill or climbing a mountain to be easier than jogging or running across a straight field. Does anybody else feel this way?
