'Spewing hatred': 'Morning Joe' host Joe Scarborough slammed by viewers as he calls out GOP for supporting Donald Trump

'Morning Joe' host Joe Scarborough lashed out at the Republican Party for its unapologetic support to Donald Trump

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Joe Scarborough has time and again cemented his anti-Trump stance on ‘Morning Joe’ and Twitter, along with his wife and co-anchor, Mika Brzezinski. On Tuesday, August 8 Scarborough directly addressed the Republicans who show support for Donald Trump.

Scarborough also claimed that "facts don’t matter to many" referring to the former president's indictments. The ‘Morning Joe’ host also called Trump a "failed reality tv host" over his stint with ‘The Apprentice.’

After Scarborough’s statements against Trump, he has faced backlash from the internet. ‘Morning Joe’s official Twitter account highlighted a clip from the segment, and people were not too pleased by it.

‘You’re choosing a failed reality tv host’

Scarborough spoke about the members of the Republican Party, “They have actually convinced themselves it’s a witch-hunt. They have a guy who stole nuclear secrets.” Brzezinski tried to interrupt Scarborough at this point but failed.

‘Morning Joe’ co-host also cited examples of Hilary Clinton and Hunter Biden in the clip shared by the official Twitter account. Scarborough also took on editorials and op-eds that wrote about Trump but never fully held him accountable, and instead blamed the Democrats. Scarborough focused on Trump’s crimes, the most recent being “stealing a presidential election,” for which he was recently indicted.

Scarborough continued, as well as the tweet highlighted, “You're choosing a failed reality TV host and a failed politician over America's rule of law, over the judiciary, over Madisonian democracy. The further we get away from this moment, the more horrific it's going to look." @joenbc on those in GOP who continue to support Trump."

‘Looks like a SNL skit’

The internet has not held back when it comes to slamming Scarborough and Brzezinski as one person tweeted, “The sooner you two propagandists are off tv the better the country will be and another called them Morning Joke.”

People have pointed out ‘The Apprentice’ which was indirectly mentioned by Scarborough as one person tweeted, “You know they are just spewing hatred when they claim The Apprentice was a failed reality show!” and some compared the show to SNL, “Morning Joe it looks like a SNL skit.”

Viewers are convinced that ‘Morning Joe’ doesn’t cover ‘important issues’ and only Trump as one person wrote, “Your program does not cover the most important issues that face our country,” and another said, “This show needs a name change. I suggest "Morning Trump."
