'Swinging' Mormon TikToker Taylor Frankie Paul arrested for domestic violence as BF defends her
HERRIMAN, UTAH: Sensational Mormon mom influencer Taylor Frankie Paul, 28, was arrested in Herriman, Utah, a southern suburb of Salt Lake City, on Saturday, February 18. The mother of two made headlines last year after admitting to breaking the cardinal rule in a 'soft swinging' group which allegedly cost her losing her husband. The 28-year-old TikToker was arrested on three misdemeanor charges assault, criminal mischief, and domestic violence in the presence of a child.
"I have yet to see the file on Taylor Paul," said assistant prosecuting attorney Matt Brooks, reported Daily Mail. "If it comes across my desk, I will screen it for possible charges like any other case." Taylor Frankie Paul was part of a group of Utah couples who indulged in 'soft swinging' - where partners allegedly swap with other but only with the understanding that they don't have full sex. After she admitted to breaking the rule, Paul's husband Tate divorced her and she is currently dating her new boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

Mortensen said he had picked Paul and brought her home after she attended a 'Galentine's Party' – a bonding event for women held around Valentine's Day on Friday night. It seems the couple may have been in an altercation that swiftly became ugly. "I'm not even allowed to speak with her," 30-year-old Mortensen said. "I really don't want to talk about it but I want to clarify a few things." "I didn't call 911," he added, saying he thinks a neighbor may have called.
"I'm going to wait for everything to come out before I speak on it," he said before hinting, "'She never hurt anyone intentionally." However, it still remains unclear why Paul, who boasts more than four million TikTok followers, was arrested. Mortensen is also a famous TIkToker alongside, he works as a real estate agent and tiling company boss. He often talks about his drug addiction and alcoholism spreading awareness on the social media giant.
'She's so broken right now!'
Furthermore, Mortensen claimed the pair did not argue and that he was trying to help her. "We didn't argue. I don't even want the truth to come out. She's so broken right now. I tried to help her," the 30-year-old said. "She's a good mom, she's going through a lot in her life right now. Taylor's been struggling, it's been a hard year for her. She is racked with guilt on her cheating scandal that cost her her marriage."
