Prince Harry's staff begin hunt for 'palace mole' after reports of 'furious row' between Kate and Meghan makes headlines
It is going to be a lively Christmas this year at the Bucklebury Manor, the Georgian home of the Middleton family. It has been revealed that Pippa Middleton with her husband James and their baby boy Arthur will also be present there for Christmas. Her brother James will also be present at the Middleton home this Christmas. Joining this merry gathering this Christmas will be Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children.
Reports mention how the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to give the traditional Royal Christmas celebrations at Sandringham, a miss this time.
Prince William is always known to enjoy the old-fashion games that the Middletons play during the holiday season. However, this Christmas, with constant reports of a rift forming in the royal family following the arrival of Meghan Markle into the threshold, speculations have been rife that all is not as cheerful as it seems and that the brothers, William and Harry may be seriously thinking of living separately, says the DailyMail.
While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be celebrating their Christmas this year with the Middletons, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on the other hand, will be celebrating Christmas in Norfolk with the Queen and Prince Philip, reveal sources. Amidst reports of clashes in the royal household regarding staff and other matters, it has been announced that the younger royal, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, will be moving to Frogmore Cottage at Windsor for some peace and quiet before their baby arrives next year. However, royal family observers feel that this move may be hiding something more serious, probably an indication that all is not well between the two brothers who were believed to be quite close before the May wedding this year.
Since Meghan's arrival, the royal family has been under constant spotlight, while for some time after the May wedding it was the Duchess of Sussex's family who had been speaking to the media, slamming her and Prince Harry for their behavior towards them, now reports of a rift between the two brothers and the sisters-in-law has caught the attention of the public. The latest being that Kate got into an intense argument with Meghan after she 'b*****ed' a member of her staff before the latter's wedding. Allegedly, the Duchess of Cambridge sternly told Meghan that it was 'unacceptable' to target her aides. Prior to this, there were reports quoting royal insiders saying that Meghan was 'authoritative' and that Prince Harry was miffed with elder brother William for not welcoming Meghan properly.
Clearly, someone in the palace has been leaking 'information' to the media and it now seems that with all this negative press around Meghan and the other members of the royal family, Prince Harry's staff has begun a hunt for the mole who has been revealing such unfavorable reports from the Palace.
According to DailyMail, a close friend of the Duke of Cambridge told the newspaper that William may have some concerns regarding Meghan. He doubts whether she may be the right choice for his younger brother. It appears that William's concerns may have even reached the Queen and his brother too. "The problem is that the Cambridges felt things had moved very quickly between Harry and Meghan. Wills particularly was worried and felt close enough to Harry to voice his thoughts," the insider said.
Royal observers are seeing a lot of Princess Diana in Meghan who is quite interested in humanitarian efforts, like her late mother-in-law, and appears to be strong-willed and a leader as well. On the other hand, while Kate toes the royal family line, she too is a strong woman and sources say that with two such personalities, there is bound to be clashes in the palace.
The flow of negative reports from the palace has shown no signs of abating. On Saturday it was revealed that Markle's personal assistant Melissa Toubati was brought to tears by the Duchess of Sussex's requests. She is known to no longer be working at the palace with Meghan's office. "Her job was highly pressurised and in the end, it became too much. She put up with quite a lot. Meghan put a lot of demands on her and it ended up with her in tears. She is hugely talented and played a pivotal role in the success of the royal wedding. She’ll be missed by everyone in the household," revealed a source to the Mirror.
As the days pass, more and more reports of the two brothers spending time apart are coming out. Both families have shown to have a different manner of going about their duties and their former warmth and camaraderie are heavily missed by fans and royal observers. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could do little to stem the flow of negativity coming from Meghan's family, when it comes to the Palace, the duo seems determined to nip the mole in the bud. We now need to wait and watch for the results of this mole hunt.
