'Modern Family' star Sarah Hyland is engaged to 'The Bachelorette' and 'Bachelor In Paradise' alum Wells Adams. The 28-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of pictures that captured Adams getting on one knee to propose followed by a surprised Hyland. She captioned them, "That can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff," to explain the joy she felt.

Adams, on the other hand, shared a video and captioned it "I’ll be Johnny, you be June. But forever." The song for the video is by Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors. Adams and Hyland have been in a relationship since 2017.

The two moved in together after being in a long-distance relationship for a year. The two confirmed their relationship during Halloween of October 2017 and have been going strong since.

According to a report in Us Magazine, when Adams moved into Hyland's apartment in LA in 2018, a source was quoted saying, "[Sarah has] never been this serious about anybody and all of her friends completely support them and think Adams is great for her.”

Adams, who opened up about moving in together with Hyland then, said, "I think everyone’s terrified to move in with one another because of the weird quirks that you’ll find out about one another. It’s been a really smooth transition. The thing that we were worried about was the dogs, and the dogs love each other now. It’s good.”

At this time, he also said their wedding won't be televised and had gone on to explain, "My family would be involved, and they would ruin the entire experience because they’re crazy. They would have too much fun at the wedding, and that would be a whole other story. Chris Harrison would kick my brother out of a party and be like, ‘You’re too drunk, you need to leave'." But do not be surprised if Harrison, the host of 'The Bachelorette', does officiate their wedding because Adams had said, "Maybe … he’s good at it."
