'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1' release date rescheduled

At CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount President Brian Robbins confirmed that the film, which was set to be released on July 14, 2023, will instead be released on July 12, 2023. The executives also presented, towards the end of the presentation, a 20-minute extended sequence and a second trailer for 'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1'. There was no reason mentioned for why the makers were moving up the release date.

The second trailer begins in Rome, where Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt and newcomer Hayley Atwell are evading multiple opponents while driving at breakneck speed through the streets and alleys of Rome — even the Spanish Steps make an appearance. To make matters worse, Cruise and Atwell are handcuffed for much of the chase, which sees them jumping on and discarding motorcycles, police cars, and beat-up cars destined for the junkyard. The early trailer for the film, which was presented to the audience at CinemaCon, will not be available on the Internet for some time as it is currently informed that it requires some final touches.

'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 2' already in works

Tom Cruise, who had previously attended CinemaCon for the film's installments, did not attend the event because it was revealed that the actor is currently working on Part 2 of the film. According to reports, executives spoke with the actor after the 20-minute extended sequence and a new trailer were shown to the audience, assuring him that everyone enjoyed it and couldn't wait to see him on screen. According to sources at CinemaCon, executives also made a point of informing Cruise that the 20 minutes shown were not the first part of the film.

'Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1' is the third collaboration between the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise and director-writer Christopher McQuarrie, who has proven to be a solid and successful team with their most recent successful film, 'Top Gun: Maverick.'

Till the time the second trailer of the movie comes out, enjoy the first trailer here.
