Miss Georgia Victoria Hill through her social impact initiative 'Flip the Script on Foster Care' hopes to change the fate of children in foster care. During her interview round for Miss America 2020 Hill was asked her thoughts on the people from the LGBTQ community getting the right to foster children.

Hill was quick to add that every person should be given the opportunity to foster children. "No, everybody needs to adopt. That is the most important and also the biggest problem in the world that we do not have enough homes that are certified or qualified to be open to foster. We need everybody to open their doors and hearts for everyone in need," she said.

Hill also mentioned how social media impacts people in the long run. She revealed that the actions people take in the present are what affect them in the future and most of the time people forget this. "I think it is really important that people understand the consequences of what they post on social media. When I post I use a filter and I make sure that everything is kind, true and necessary," she said.  "If it is not all three then I don't post it." With her witty and honest answers, Hill has already qualified for the top five.

Hill has been an active advocate for fostering children and finding them a new and loving home. Her love for foster care stems from personal reasons. Hill has two uncles who were once in a foster home but their life changed once they were adopted. Hill stated that she cannot imagine her life without them.

Ever since then, Hill has taken it upon her to give that feeling to someone else as well. She has been working closely with several foster care homes to ensure that the children find a loving home.
