Meghan Markle's best friend Misha Nonoo shares first images of herself in stunning lace 'one of kind' bridal gown
Designer Misha Nonoo, 31, who married oil tycoon Mikey Hess shared first pictures of herself in her stunning 'one-of-a-kind' wedding dress she designed herself.
She may have found the process of creating her own wedding dress 'lengthy' and 'challenging', but her pictures show that the gown is every bit worth the hard work and dedication. Nonoo's picture shows her modeling the gorgeous hand-embroidered lace and silk gown in the pictures.
Nonoo took to her Instagram to share, "It was such a special process to make this one of a kind piece, particularly when I usually design with every woman in mind, the options felt endless." She added that she needed to design a dress which had guipure lace on laser cut silk organza. The dress was then hand embroidered in Switzerland.
"In the end, we selected a hand-embroidered guipure lace on laser cut silk organza embroidered by a Swiss family-run mill established in 1904," she added in the caption. "We finished the piece with a 10-meter long silk tulle veil." The dress featured long sleeves and also had a fitted bodice which was connected via a delicate lace choker.
For her special day, Nonoo had her hair tied up in order to keep the focus on the cut-out neck detailing. After uploading her pictures on Instagram, the popular designer decided to disable the comments section so that people were unable to comment with their opinions about the design.
Earlier on this month, Nonoo had told the Daily Mail that she "always knew" that she would design her own wedding dress for her special day. The couple's wedding took place at the Villa Aurelia in Rome and featured a star-studded guest list that comprised the likes of best friend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Paul McCartney, anchor Gayle King, Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and James Corden.
